If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax on the Forgotten Coast, Coastline RV Campground is it!
This campground has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained, the two large pools are perfect for cooling off, the spacious bathhouses are spotless, and the brand-new pickleball courts are a fantastic bonus. Putt putt coming soon!
What really makes this place special is the staff. They’re incredibly friendly, and if you stay more than a day or two, they don’t just know your name—they become your friends! They also keep everyone entertained with fun activities like bingo, craft nights, and other community events that make it easy to meet fellow campers.
Best of all, it’s just a quick 6-mile drive to beautiful St. George Island, so you get the best of both worlds.

Floating Cabins
Westwego, La.
For an authentic Louisiana experience, reserve a floating cabin at Bayou Segnette State Park. Sitting on the screened-in porch, taking in the view of the canal while dropping a line to see what’s nibbling, you'll be frequently reminding yourself that New Orleans is only about 30 minutes away. Also, be on the lookout for some gator friends, because they may be watching you.
Again, it is floating accommodation, so there's occasional movement, which can be quite the experience at night or when an airboat passes by during the day.

Stepping into Beau Rivage is almost like stepping into a different world. From the elaborately (and sometimes whimsically) decorated lobby, reflecting a season or holiday, to the dining options, spa, pool and more, including entertainment, it's almost as if you forget there's a casino there, too. Definitely request a room with a Gulf view, and if you happen to be staying at Beau Rivage during Mardi Gras season (January - February), be sure to pop into Roasted Bean for a slice of the housemade king cake.

Location, location, location! The Gilmore is Nashville’s 12 South full-service hotel. If you aren’t familiar with 12 South, it’s about two miles south of downtown, home to the popular “I Believe in Nashville” mural, and is filled with eateries (highly recommend The Butter Milk for breakfast), boutiques (have to drop in Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James) and the like. Book here if you want the best of both worlds: spend a day or two exploring downtown and The Gulch, then take a breather by checking out 12 South. Unwind with a to-go meal in The Gilmore’s Poets Courtyard, or start your morning with coffee and peaceful views from the Skyline Terrace.

Maybe it’s the chocolate chip cookies and bubbly at Sparkling Hour, 3 - 5 p.m., the buttermilk biscuits on the room service menu or the ability to borrow a Crosley Record player and some vinyls during your stay. There’s something comfortable yet elevated about the property. One of the great things about staying here is that you don’t have to leave (however, it is Savannah, so check out a bike and helmet from The Alida and explore). But if you want a hotel weekend, The Alida is the place, with two restaurants, a lobby, a pool deck, a fitness center (yes, some people do work out while away from home), and so much more.

Glamping at The Kentucky Castle
Versailles
The glamping tent at The Kentucky Castle is a fun experience for two. Don’t think you’ll be roughing it, because that’s not the case at all. There are plush robes, a blanket, a coffee maker, and ice. The tent is spacious, with room to spread out and relax. You have the view of the Castle and the farm, and you can dine at The Castle and stroll the grounds. You have your own private bathroom (a short walk from the tent). There’s a firepit and firewood, perfect for making s’mores. Don't forget to enjoy a meal or two at The Castle, and check it out as well.
