The Palm Beaches (Florida) is Open for Meetings, with Open Palms, and the whole community is energized to welcome planners and their guests.
Backing this sentiment, Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the official tourism marketing organization for Palm Beach County, recently launched two new promotional offers, aimed to provide financial support for meetings in the destination.
In conjunction with the Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC) and West Palm Beach Convention, Arts and Entertainment District hotels, DTPB is offering an a la carte promotion, incentivizing planners to leverage the destination's re-engineered programs, tools, and plethora of open and outdoor spaces, whether their event is hybrid or in-person.
The promotion includes a complimentary option from within the following categories: technology upgrades, outdoor receptions, meeting space rental, and transportation perks.
Below is a breakdown of each category's offerings, from which meeting planners can choose a package to suit their needs:
Complimentary Wi-Fi at the PBCCC
Complimentary Wi-Fi in hotel guestrooms
Up to $15,000 in credit for event technology provider to support hybrid and or in-person technology needs
Complimentary outdoor reception space
Up to $25,000 for a hosted reception to offset food and beverage or décor
Complimentary rental at PBCCC
Up to $15,000 in credit to enhance overall meeting space needs
Attendees receive complimentary Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) transfers
Complimentary transportation to and from contract hotels to PBCCC
Complimentary transfers to an evening event
DTPB's promotional offers complement the team's existing, wide array of cost-cutting programs, such as access a pool of local talent known as Destination Champions, which include guest speakers, innovative food and beverage suppliers and volunteers; and the ability to customize local, immersive experiences at various price points.
New outdoor event spaces throughout the destination include the convention center's reimagined SKYroom courtyard; expanded areas at Loggerhead Marinelife Center, which allow attendees an up close and personal experience with sea turtles on one of the world's most densely nested beaches; rooftop terraces at new boutique hotels such as The Ben, The Canopy by Hilton and The White Elephant; and sweeping Intracoastal Waterway views atop private spaces at Flagler Banyan Square.
Planners can also be eligible to earn up to a $5,000 event credit towards their next event in The Palm Beaches, when they refer a new meeting or event that books in the destination*. Planners who have already contracted a future event in The Palm Beaches are also eligible to receive a referral credit*.
