This Friday and Saturday (November 1–2), "Disney On Ice Road Trip Adventures" glides into the Macon Coliseum.

Disney fans of all ages can join Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and friends on an action-packed adventure filled with interactive experiences both on and off the ice. Audiences will travel to iconic Disney destinations—from the rooftops of London with Mary Poppins and Jack and his lamplighters to the Toy Story carnival with Woody and Bo Peep on their quest to find Forky.

"It's a show where there's never a dull moment," says cast member Imani Underwood, who brings an acting background to her skating career. It was her love of Disney that drew her to Disney on Ice.

"I love being part of the shows and bringing the stories to life."

Her favorite moment? The opening act.

"It beautifully ties together the old and the new."

For fellow performer Maya Jones, skating runs in the family—her mom is a skating coach, and Jones started on the ice early. After years of competing, Disney On Ice offered her a whole new and creative way to share her skills.

"I've always competed, so to be able to do show skating and bring the magic of Disney to kids all around the world is an amazing thing," she says.

Jones' favorite segment? No surprise—it's "Frozen."

"It's always a hit with the kids. I love hearing them sing 'Let It Go.'

She adds the production features aerialists portraying Elsa's snowflakes during the song, and there are some "really gorgeous" LED screens where the audience can watch as Elsa builds her castle - "it's really, really stunning."

For both Underwood and Jones, "Disney on Ice Road Trip Adventures" is about more than just skating—it's about creating joy.

"It's a really amazing thing to look out and see the kids and their families get excited when they see their favorite Disney character on ice."
